18th ONERA-DLR Aerospace Symposium
03 - 05 July 2018 - Bonn, Germany
The French Aerospace Lab, ONERA, and the German Aerospace Center, DLR, are pleased to announce the 18th ONERA-DLR Aerospace Symposium, ODAS 2018.
This symposium is alternately held in France and in Germany. Its aim is to gather PhD students and young scientists (less than 35 years old) from ONERA and DLR in order to foster scientific and personal exchanges between both research establishments. The attendance is limited to ONERA and DLR speakers, in order to keep a workshop format and spirit. Exceptions might be granted for close colleagues (e.g. paper co-authors with different affiliation). However, some outside speakers may be invited in order to provide an external point of view (e.g. for the keynote).
ODAS 2018 will be devoted to New Concepts of Aerial Vehicles.
This year's topic includes diverse areas of new concepts of aerial vehicles, e.g. (but not limited to):
All papers dealing with any of these subtopics must apply to the subject "new concepts of aerial vehicles".
The ODAS program will be established on the basis of submitted abstracts, selected by the Technical Committee. These abstracts of less than 500 words are required to use the common template, and illustrated by typical results. The limit of 500 words applies to the abstract text only; images/graphs and a reference section do not count towards this limit. Proceedings of the full papers will be provided online prior to the conference. All abstracts must be submitted via the online abstract submission on the ODAS 2018 website. Abstracts sent by fax or email will not be accepted.
ODAS 2018 will be hosted by DLR in Bonn. A dinner will be offered to the participants on Wednesday, 04 July 2018.
